SERVICE INFORMATION · UPDATED 5 OCTOBER 2026

Privacy notice

This notice describes the current RoutePass service. The legal operator’s details are pending confirmation before commercial launch. Support: support@routpass.com.

Account and journey data

We store your email as a login identifier, a salted password hash, a hash of your recovery code, saved travel routes and successful live matching records. Passwords and recovery codes are not stored in readable form. Email ownership is not currently verified.

Purpose and retention

These records support sign-in, route saving, monthly free-match limits and RP accounting. Account data remains until you delete your account. Session records expire after seven days. Abuse-prevention counters expire after fifteen minutes. Server access logs may contain IP addresses and request paths and are size-rotated.

Your controls

You can download your account data as JSON in Account settings after confirming your password. The export includes your journeys, comparisons, order drafts, RP history and recorded terms acceptance; it excludes password hashes, recovery secrets and session tokens. You can also remove saved routes or delete your account in My account. Account deletion removes sessions and matching records associated with that account.

External services

Fonts are hosted on this site; no Google Fonts requests are made. Catalog information comes from TripoSIM; the current matching engine compares the cached catalog on the RoutePass server and does not send your email or saved itinerary to TripoSIM. No marketing or analytics scripts are installed.

Order drafts

If you create an eSIM or RP top-up draft, we store its selected items and current price in your account. Drafts do not trigger payment or provider purchases. Deleting your account also deletes these drafts.

Support and registration records

Support is now provided by email. Previously submitted requests remain associated with your account, topic, message, reference, time and status until account deletion. Registration records include the accepted Terms version and UTC time. Email copies are not connected. Commercial retention and legal operator details must be finalized before paid services launch.

Backup and operational records

Daily database backups on the active server are retained for up to 14 days and tested by restoring an isolated copy. Daily operational health summaries contain no account details and are retained for up to 30 days. Deleted account records may remain in those backups until they expire. Migration rollback copies and the retired server require a separate controlled removal; complete commercial retention rules remain pending.
